* Waukegan, IL, – Waukegan Park Place presents its 19th Annual Walk for Seniors on Saturday, September 22, 2018. This year’s fun theme, Adult Superhero 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Kids' Run will bring your family, friends, clubs, groups, and organizations together. Professional Timing Service and a Celebration Of The Arts are sure to make this an unforgettable event. Costumes are strongly suggested and prizes will be given to the best costumes.
* Each year Park Place presents a fun event for the entire family. Awards will be given to the fastest Woman/Man to complete the course and the oldest and youngest runners/walkers. Also, prizes for the Kids' 1 Mile Run. After the race, enjoy entertainment, great food, and giveaways.

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, and registrations will be accepted at Park Place, 414 S. Lewis, Waukegan IL and online. Onsite registration will begin at 7:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018. Each participant with $40 or more will receive an event t-shirt!
